Direction

We get to know the profession of audiovisual direction from the hand of 4 experts in different genres. Elena Martín, Tània Balló, Marta Pahissa and Sònia Sánchez will share with us what the job of a film director is and what their experience has been in their long career.

This session consists of 4 tables in which the directors tell us the day to day of their work, then we establish a conversation with the attendees in order to deepen their profession.

The session will be closed to the public only for pre-registered people.

Sònia Sánchez

Director and assistant director. His professional career includes films such as "Les nenes no haurien de jugar al futbol (Girls shouldn’t play football)", "Barcelona, ciutat neutral (Barcelona, a neutral city)" and the TV3 series: "Com si fos ahir (As if it were yesterday)".

Elena Martín

Elena Martín

Elena Martín i Gimeno is an actress and director of Catalan cinema.
She became known as the protagonist of the film "Les amigues de l’Àgata" (2015), the name of which some critics have used to baptize a whole generation of new Catalan filmmakers. In 2017 she signed the her first job as a director, "Julia ist."

Marta Pahissa

Marta Pahissa

Director at MediaPro. She has worked on television series and programs such as "El Foraster (The Foraster)", "Cites (Dating)", "Ser o no ser (To be or Not to Be)" o "Chester" de cuatro.

Tània Balló

Tània Balló

Tània Balló Colell is a Spanish film and television director and producer, screenwriter and writer. She is the driving force behind "Las Sinsombrero" transmedia project, together with Serrana Torres and Manuel Jiménez Núñez, about thinkers and artists belonging to the 27th Generation. She has also been the director of the Netflix series "El Caso Wanninkhof - Carabantes".
