AUDIOVISUAL PITCH
The University-Industry Audiovisual Pitch is the main act of the Talent Week. For three days, final degree projects from Catalan, Spanish and International University Centers are shown in front of a round table made up of professionals from the audiovisual industry in the categories of fiction, non-fiction, entertainment, video games and new technologies and immersive experiences.
SPECIAL INDUSTRY AWARD
The Special Industry Award is an initiative launched by several member companies of the Catalan Audiovisual Cluster with the aim of supporting the completion of a non-fiction work from the projects presented at the Audiovisual Talent Week Pitch.
Participating companies grant a prize consisting of their services to the winning project, allowing it to benefit from the various services available across the audiovisual value chain.
The winner of the 2025 Industry Special Award is Matrescencia, by Claudia Vizuete and Andrea Lajara, from TecnoCampus.
The participating companies in this year’s edition are:
- Benecé Produccions. Support and consultancy for the project’s production.
- Metropolitana. 40 hours of color grading.
- Ovide. Camera equipment for up to 6 weeks.
- BSO (Banda Sonora Original). Three days of audio editing and mixing, or creation of 30 minutes of original music.
- Only Postproduction. Finishing and DCP creation for distribution, verification in a cinema scope screening room with 5.1 audio, and private screening.
- Higgins Postproduction. One editing room for 2 months and a screening in the projection room for final cut review.
- Nov25Studio. 25 hours of editing in After Effects.
DEVELOPMENT AWARDS
A total of five development awards are granted, one for each Pitch session, this year in the categories of Fiction, Non-Fiction, Entertainment, Video Games, and New Technologies & Immersive Experiences.
All awards include a monetary prize of €2,000* and mentorship from industry experts. All projects participating in each session are eligible for the award. Winners are chosen by the professionals attending each session.

The winning projects of the 2025 Development Awards are:
- Fiction: IKAW MAG-SABI, by Jelwen Arconado Arlantico. From ESDi – Escola Superior de Disseny.
- Non Fiction: Cartografía del recuerdo, by Sama Salloum. From Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
- Entertainment: Caracremada, by Lourdes Pérez Sala. From Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya.
- Video Games: Sorority Rush, by Alexandra Teixidó Castellana. From Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
- New Technologies and Immersive Experiences: Cartografías invisibles, by Humbert Torrego Vanrell. From Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
