ABSTRACT

IA·Veu (AI·Voice) is a synthetic voice generation system in Catalan designed for professional use within the audiovisual sector. The initiative addresses the challenges posed by the emergence of artificial intelligence in the field of voice, particularly regarding issues such as protecting the rights of voice actors, the use of biometric data, and the legal security of AI-generated content.

The project promotes the development of its own secure technological infrastructure, based on data obtained in controlled professional environments and with clear mechanisms for consent, traceability, and management of usage rights. This approach allows for the exploration of new applications of voice technologies in audiovisual production workflows with ethical and legal safeguards and opens opportunities for the development of AI-based services in the sector.
